Asheville FM is nonprofit, volunteer-driven, community radio at its best. Programming includes community-focused news and talk-radio both in English and in Spanish, as well as the most eclectic freeform mix of music you will find in Western North Carolina.

And, Asheville FM is more than just a radio station. We’re a nonprofit with the mission to impact our community in positive ways. Our services include youth radio & community podcasting, and a live performance studio to feature local musicians and touring bands. We partner with other organizations to bring attention to local events, artists, activists, marginalized communities, and other nonprofits.

As a community resource, Asheville FM is committed to uplifting historically marginalized voices in our region and beyond. We are working to serve individuals and communities including immigrants, LGBTQ+, people of color, women, and young people through social justice programs, community outreach, and news and community affairs.  Our organization has partnerships with dozens of nonprofits to uplift their diverse missions and facilitate awareness for the needs of everyone here in Western North Carolina.
