The Appalachian Craft Center has been in business since 1980, featuring traditional crafts from the the Southern Appalachians. We represent over 150 craftspeople, with our focus being on pottery from various potters in NC. Our other crafts include an amazing display of etching by Jay Pfeil from Black Mountain, glass, woven pieces including placemats, napkins, table runners and scarves, wooden kitchen utensils, bird carvings by Tony Dills of Weaverville, locally made jewelry including Stuart Nye’s hand wrought pieces in copper, silver and brass. Please stop in and see our wonderful collection of crafts in our 2000 sq. ft. shop.
