We built Archetype to be a neighborhood meeting place – a truly accessible space for all where connections are made. Our West Asheville taproom and production facility remains in constant motion, as the hub of all of our brewing operations and the source for lively, regular events.

The sun drenched plant-filled taproom is cozy, modern, and equipped with board games, coloring sheets, Nintendo, a jukebox box, couches, covered patios and a rooftop deck. We’re just up the hill from RAD in East West Asheville – with plenty of parking! Our “Beverage for Every Type” ethos showcases the flavors of Asheville and Western North Carolina through the use of local ingredients, and – wherever possible – working with local beverage producers to round out our dynamic selection.

This array of beverage options makes Archetype an approachable taproom for everyone – from handmade cocktails to carefully curated wines, rotating house-made hard seltzers, plenty of non-alcoholic and gluten free beers, ciders, local sodas, seltzer waters, regular and CBD kombucha, and of course, Archetype’s own award winning beers. Plus, thanks to our amazing Beacham’s Curve courtyard, you can order and enjoy food brought right to your table.
