Since 1990, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity has operated a retail store as a source of sustainable income for its building programs. The Asheville Habitat ReStores (in Weaverville & Asheville) sell donated items including gently used furniture, building supplies, appliances, housewares, antiques, books, art and more to the general public. Proceeds from ReStore sales help fund Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity’s building and repair programs. The ReStores divert more than 2,500 tons of usable material from the landfill annually while offering the community a source for affordable building supplies and home furnishings. Our success is due to incredible community support and we are so grateful for all who shop, donate merchandise, volunteer, and hire our Deconstruction team!
