Downtown Books & News (or DBN if you prefer) is a used bookstore located on Lexington Avenue deep in the funky guts of downtown Asheville.  We opened the doors July 1st, 1988 and haven’t been closed a single day since.  We offer all sorts of weird and rare collectibles as well as a big bunch of inexpensive reading copies of all your favorite literature.  We serve up all the newspapers we can get and have a thoroughly curated magazine collection.  You might also want to take a look at the numerous local artists we showcase.  Also Lisa works here.
