Flipside Boardshop Maggie Valley is locally owned and family operated just 4 miles away from the Cataloochee Ski Area.  We offer rental and demo snowboards for the whole family along with an amazing selection of boards, bindings, boots, and all the necessities you will need for a great day on the hill.  We do repairs and waxing/sharpening services.  We also have a full service skateboard shop with the best selection of skate gear in the region.

Flipside Boardshop is Asheville’s original skateboard and snowboard shop opening our first location on Lexington Ave. in 1994.  We closed our downtown location in September of 2020 to focus on our family, expanding our website, and offering more hours at our Maggie Valley location near the Cataloochee Ski Area.  We are locally owned and offer a great selection from the best brands in the industry. We are full service and offer everything from snowboard tunes to special orders. We specialize in skateboard and snowboard hardgoods, outerwear, apparel, and boots.  Our Maggie Valley location offers snowboard rentals and demos.  We strive to continue to exceed your expectations of a local skate/ snow shop through offering limited local delivery, discounted shipping, and order pickup locations throughout Buncombe, Henderson, and Haywood counties.
