Anxiety and stress levels are high at the moment. You feel overwhelmed or stuck without a way through. Your sense of safety is missing and balance is a challenge. You’re tired and ready for a change. Many of my clients feel this way when they reach out to me. Most of the people I work with are between 20 and 50 addressing challenges in relationships, careers, alcohol or substance use, and other stresses of being an adult in the middle of a pandemic.
Our work together will focus on calming you down from fight, flight and freeze. This will help you improve your decision making, set and achieve goals, and handle what life has for you next. Much of my approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral styles (CBT, REBT). I also provide EMDR via telehealth.
