Hi, I’m James Ferrell of Asheville rock/metal band The Welcoming. After more than a decade of recording my own projects, I’m excited to officially open my own studio at my home in South Asheville!

I’m not in a position to work for free, but I will work within your budget. And you won’t be disappointed with the results. I’ve handled all of the tracking, editing, and mixing for The Welcoming right here in my 500 square foot space. It’s a well-treated room with a modest collection of nice instruments and mics, and I know how to get the most out of it.
