I’m Acidalia, a solo massage therapist in Asheville offering trauma-informed, nervous-system-supportive massage rooted in years of experience working in residential mental health since 2020. My background supporting individuals in high-stress, emotionally complex environments deeply informs how I work with the body: with care, attunement, consent, and respect for each person’s boundaries and lived experience.

My massage sessions are designed to help you feel safe, grounded, and restored. I offer calm, restorative bodywork while remaining capable of more focused, detailed work when needed. Every session is personalized based on your goals, comfort level, and how your body is feeling that day. Whether you’re navigating chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, or simply need intentional time to rest, my work supports both physical relief and nervous system regulation.

I prioritize clear communication, choice, and client autonomy throughout the session. My trauma-informed approach means I move at a pace that feels supportive, avoid forcing the body, and remain responsive to subtle cues. Many of my clients work in helping professions or caregiving roles, and they value a massage space where they don’t have to perform, explain, or push through discomfort.

In addition to massage therapy, I create handcrafted wellness products that support self-care beyond the treatment room. These include seasonal essential oil rollers, soap, magnesium oil, sugar scrubs, salt scrubs, and massage candles. Each product is made in small batches with intention and care, designed to support relaxation, grounding, and everyday wellness rituals.

I also create Reiki-charged crystal grid bracelets, which are available alongside my essential oil products at local pop-ups throughout Asheville. Pop-ups allow people to connect with my work in a low-pressure, in-person setting and explore tools that support their wellness in daily life. Whether someone books a massage, picks up a product, or simply has a conversation at a pop-up, my goal is to offer care that feels accessible and human.

As a solo practitioner, I personally handle every aspect of my work—from massage sessions to product creation and community events. I value trauma-informed care, compassion, and nervous system awareness, and I bring those values into everything I offer.

If you’re looking for thoughtful, trauma-informed massage therapy or handcrafted wellness products made with care, I invite you to book a session, visit a pop-up, or explore my offerings and find what supports you best.
